Head Teachers’ Wing
The SNAT has a dedicated wing for Head Teachers and Deputy Head Teachers who subscribe under the Union. This wing provides a professional platform that addresses leadership, management, and policy matters within the education sector. The aims and objectives of the association include the following:
To provide a forum for the exchange of views on educational matters
The association creates a structured platform where Head Teachers and Deputy Head Teachers can openly share experiences, challenges, and perspectives on issues affecting education.
To promote the interchange of ideas and information
The association facilitates the exchange of ideas and information among Head Teachers or Deputy Head Teachers, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Examinations Council of Swaziland, and other educational bodies at sub-regional, regional, and international levels.
To promote cooperation and understanding among members
The association encourages unity, cooperation, and mutual understanding among members as they work together toward common goals and shared education policies.
To present the views of Head Teachers and Deputy Head Teachers in education bodies
The association represents the collective views and interests of school leaders in educational bodies and during the formulation and review of education policies.
To serve the country through educational development
The association seeks to explore, evaluate, and implement relevant educational developments that contribute to national progress and improved education standards.
To organize seminars and capacity-building programmes
The association organizes seminars, workshops, and training programmes aimed at improving leadership skills, management capacity, and overall performance of members in the execution of their duties.
